You’ve got a few choices when it comes to Las Vegas ziplines.  On the Strip, the FLYLINQ zipline towers above the Linq promenade (above).  Located downtown, the SlotZilla ziplines take you on a thrilling trip under the LED-lighted canopy of the Fremont Street Experience.  If you are looking for a taste of the desert, check out the Bootleg Canyon zipline in nearby Boulder City.

Explore Seven Magic Mountains

Internationally renowned Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone’s Seven Magic Mountains is a large-scale site-specific public art installation located near Interstate 15, approximately ten miles south of Las Vegas. Comprised of seven towers of colorful, stacked boulders standing more than thirty feet high, Seven Magic Mountains is situated within the Ivanpah Valley adjacent to Sheep Mountain and the McCullough, Bird Spring, and Goodsprings ranges of mountains. A creative expression of human presence in the desert, Seven Magic Mountains punctuates the Mojave with a poetic burst of form and color.   During summer months, be sure to go early to avoid mid-day heat.

Mi Casa and WuHu Noodle were named in an article about the magazine’s top ten Las Vegas dining experiences this year.

and signature favorites — everything from spicy fajitas to tamales to ceviche.

any one of the 65 tequilas served at Mi Casa.

I was very impressed with the authenticity of the interior of the restaurant.
I was more impressed by the food. At the time of our visit and due to other
restaurants being closed, the menu was very diversified.

Our server, Deontae, was very personable and provided us with attentive
service. The food was delicious. I loved Mi Casa’s version of chicken tortilla
soup. I ordered filet mignon and it was cooked to perfection. Dorene chose
Rancho del Sur as her entree. (NY steak, four jumbo grilled peppers,
onions, tabasco onions.) Mi Casa is truly a hidden gem and the prices are
very reasonable. I highly recommend making a visit.

WuHu Noodle at Silverton
WuHu’s menu features authentic Chinese, Japanese,
Vietnamese and Thai cuisine. Signature dishes in-
clude Singapore Style Noodles, Green Bean Beef,
Braised Beef Brisket on Rice and Asparagus Shrimp.
Customers may watch chefs prepare dishes
through an interactive kitchen viewing area.
I thought their Asian Chicken Wings were among
the best I have ever had. Prices are reasonable.

In addition, this issue included Casino Player Best Dining & Nightlife Awards.  In the 2022 results,  Sundance Grill was named the “Best Burger” for Las Vegas Locals and Shady Grove was named the “Best Lounge” for Las Vegas Locals.
