Visitors Can Indulge in Hard Cider on Tap and Fall Festival Foods

Celebrate the flavors of fall at the second annual Cider Fest at Silverton Casino. With several unique types of hard cider available on tap, this event is the perfect opportunity to indulge in the flavors of the season.   Cider Fest debuts at Shady Grove Lounge on Oct. 3 and runs Thursdays through Sundays until Nov. 3, 2024.

Visitors can treat themselves to a flight of hard ciders, expertly curated to offer a range of tastes and styles or sip on their favorite cider on tap while relaxing in the lounge.

This year’s selections

At Silverton Casino’s Cider Fest, the following selections will be offered on tap:

Angry Orchard Crisp Apple Cider
Region: New York ABV: 5%
Sweet, apple. Crisp, fruity, bright

Cranberry Cinnamon Cider
Region: San Diego ABV: 6%
Semi-sweet, fruit-forward, bright

Apple Heist Cider
Region: Ohio ABV: 6%
Vibrant, fresh, bright, bubbly, wine-like finish

Tropical Punch Cider
Region: Ohio ABV: 6%
Tropical, lush, juicy fruits

Tasting Flight
Sampling of all four ciders, 2oz pour each

What’s a fall festival without great food?  Cider Fest will include a menu of “festival favorites” that complement the cider offerings. This year’s Cider Fest menu includes:

Pumpkin hummus
House-made pita chips, parsley oil, toasted pumpkin seeds, pomegranates

Beer braised onion dip
House-made white cheddar kettle potato chips

Spaetzle “mac” and cheese balls
 bacon jam

Everything bagel house-made Pretzel charcuterie
Assorted cured meats, pecan crusted goat cheese, port salute, cambolza, red pepper dip,
onion jam, mustard, pickled pearl onions, gherkins, marinated olives

Cannoli dip
