The Next Movement performs live at Veil Pavilion on Saturday, May 21 with Michelle Marshall, the Ultimate Tina Turner tribute.

Formed in 1972 on Chicago’s South Side and going strong 50 years later, the group’s original members – Cornell Haywood, Earl Shelby, and Samuel Thomas, Jr. – idolized the harmony groups of the 60’s and 70’s such as The Temptations, Jackson 5, The Dells and The Chi-Lites. Following a number of Billboard hits, the group moved permanently to Las Vegas in 1995 and found a home in many showrooms and lounges there and across the U.S.
